Wacipi pronounced Wa-chee-pee (Shadow Dancer) is one of our two female cubs. She was born with her brother Yawto the first week in May 2004 and we rescued them from a breeder. She was sweet and shy when she came to the sanctuary on May 22, 2004. Wacipi was our best eater in the beginning and she still is, she is 2nd largest of the 3 cubs. She has quite a little belly on her. She eats really good now and especially enjoys the red meat. Wacipi is friendly but when startled she turns and runs to a corner, but then she turns around and growls. She is turning out to be a bit of a loner. Wacipi seems to be taking the Omega role between the three cubs. Wacipi has definitely taken over the Omega role in her pack. She is very shy and does not go to may visitors. She is comfortable with the staff and loves them very much. She is very beautiful and keeps herself clean. Yawto, her brother does protect her from Wanagi the Alpha female.
They are growing quickly and need a compound where they will have room to run and play.
