Wanagi (Guiding Spirit)

Wanagi (Guiding Spirit) is one of our two female cubs. She was born the first week in May 2004 and we rescued her from a breeder. She was very alert when she came to the sanctuary on May 22, 2004. Wanagi seemed to be the leader of the 3 cubs, but Yawto has since taken over as Alpha. She had a hard time eating and only Tonya (Momma Wolf) was able to feed her. For the first few days, Tonya had to open her mouth and squeeze the formula into it. She eats good now and gobbles up the red meat. Wanagi loves to chew on women's hair, but she is gentle. Wanagi has a sweet howl. She is changing color and growing fast. Wanagi is a little aloof with visitors but warms up to you quickly. Istas and Wanagi seem to be forming a special bond and she may end up being his mate.
Come visit Wanagi soon to meet her as a cub.
Wanagi has been adopted by a loving visitor but she needs more parents to love and help her.
Please adopt her to help us get a compound built for these precious cubs.
