Our precious girl Niosha joined the sky people on December 30, 2004. Please say a prayer for her and her mate Tamaka, he is a lone wolf now, living alone without his mate. The Wolf Mountain Pack will never be the same, we have lost one of our pack and we miss her desperately.
Niosha (Cool Rippling Water) 1996-2004
Niosha (Cool Rippling Water), was a British Columbian Black Wolf and came to us with Tamaka at 4 weeks old. These two were life long companions and have never been separated now. The breeder could not sell her because she was too shy. Niosha was very protective of Tamaka, and was friendly and would sing from her heart with a beautiful voice. Niosha was very loving and enjoyed it when visitors greeted her. She was very selective to those she greeted, but when she liked you knew it. She loved to jump high to the top of her compound. She had piercing gold/amber eyes that touch you deep inside. She was very petite but fierce when she was protecting her mate Tamaka. Niosha loved to have her back scratched. Niosha was a special girl and she will be in our hearts and souls forever.
Niosha had a very deep soulful howl. She used to answer her human pack mates howls. She was always the first to respond. WMS and all will miss her howl very much. ---------------------------
Niosha had the most piercing amber eyes. These were true wolf eyes and you could see your soul in them. -----------------------------------------------------
Tamaka was Niosha's mate. This is the last picture taken of them together. It was a fun day, they were enjoying treats from one of Tamaka's adoptive parents Dianne.
Tamaka has been with Niosha since they were 6 wks old. This is a very hard transition for him. He still looks up the road waiting for her to come back and howls sadly.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Wolfs Prayer Follow me down the path, I will walk beside you. Guiding and showing you the way, I will not leave you. Close your eyes, You will see 6 sets of prints, 2 belonging to you, 4 to me. Then you will know that I have not left you, I will be there to Guide you, Whenever you need me
---------------------------------------------------------
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow - I am the diamonds glint on snow- I am sunlight on ripened grain- I am the Autumn's gentle rain- When you wake in the morning hush- I am the quiet uplifting rush of birds in flight- Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there I do not sleep.
-------------------------------- Run free our precious girl, Cool Rippling Water. This is your first chance at freedom, play with all the other wolves up in the sky. We miss your physical being fiercely but your spirit is still here with us and always will be. This is not good-bye, we will be with you again someday..
