He seemed so knowledgeable for one so young. Blue, Mireya and Mishomi used to share a compound. Mireya was moved to be with her new mate Sedona and that left Mishomi and Blue alone. This worked for a short time and then they began competing for the Alpha role. After a few heated arguments we decided to give Mishomi his own compound. As he is now alone, we spend a lot of time visiting and playing with him. Mishomi was very large at one year weighing approximately 150 lbs. He is now is our Largest Wolf and weighs approximately 180 lbs! He has HUGE feet. He has turned very light in color and is very beautiful. His eyes are absolutely magnificent. He is very strong and has a beautiful howl. He loves everyone and gets excited when approached and wants to play. Although he is playful, you can see the love, kindness and wisdom in his eyes. Mishomi had a bump on his tail. The vet figured out it was cancerous so he came out and did surgery on Mishomi to remove it. The surgery was done and was successful. A few days later Mishomi chewed the bottom half of his tail off. Tonya thinks there was still cancer in it and being a wild animal he took matters into his own hands. As it was not surgically done, we had the vet come back out and finish the job in a sterile manner. Mishomi now has no tail. He is the only wolf known to us like this.
