What has been killing the livestock and roaming the hills around the Lazy Lizard Ranch? Is it a Wolf? A Werewolf? Or is it a deadly Native American Skinwalker? In order to find out, Real and Chance will need to face attack dogs, wild wolves, and a Native American vision quest. Will their knowledge and newly acquired medicine bags be enough to save them when they face something in the hills of Lucerne Valley long after midnight?
